Child & Adolescent Therapy
We provide therapy for children, as young as three, and adolescents experiencing a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges. For younger children, common concerns may include ADHD, anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, grief, separation anxiety, school difficulties, peer relationship struggles, and identity development. Our therapists work with children to help them understand and express their emotions, build self-regulation skills, and feel more confident in themselves and their relationships. Through age-appropriate, evidence-based approaches, including play therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), we create a safe and supportive environment where your child can thrive. Our therapists help kids and teens develop communication, emotional regulation, and conflict resolution skills to help them make better life decisions.
Parenting children and adolescents can be a huge source of stress in our lives. Problems with children come in many forms, whether it’s dealing with teenagers who are defiant, anxious, or depressed, or navigating challenges with younger children who may be struggling with behavioral issues or adjusting to changes at home. The pressures are real, and the emotional toll can be overwhelming.
For both children and adolescents, therapy can provide a safe space to explore difficult emotions and develop healthier coping strategies. Sometimes, individual therapy for your child is necessary. In other cases, your child might benefit from family therapy to improve communication and strengthen family bonds. For younger children, therapy might also include play-based approaches, where they can express their feelings and fears in a way that feels natural to them.
For adolescents, issues such as defiance, depression, or struggles with identity are common, and therapy can help teens navigate these challenges while promoting self-esteem and emotional well-being. Whether your teen is dealing with relationship struggles, academic pressure, or feelings of isolation, therapy can provide a supportive space for them to explore their concerns.
Additionally, conflict between parents and children, whether in the form of parenting struggles with young children or challenges with a rebellious teen, can add strain to family relationships. Our therapists are trained to help parents resolve such issues, provide guidance on effective parenting strategies, and improve communication within the family unit. Therapy can also support couples in resolving parenting conflicts that may be affecting their marriage, helping to restore balance and understanding.
No matter what stage of parenting you’re in, our therapists are here to guide you and your child or adolescent toward healthier relationships and emotional growth.
