Rachel utilizes methods from Gottman couples therapy, and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), both evidenced based approaches. She is also certified in Prepare-Enrich Premarital Therapy which is a premarital program for couples (Newly Married, Dating, Engaged) who are looking to grow and build a strong foundation for their relationship. Rachel believes that all relationships can grow and improve. She is committed to creating a safe, open space where her clients can feel heard. She works in a compassionate, and nonjudgmental space with her clients. Whether clients are seeking couples therapy, or individual therapy, Rachel’s goal is to help her clients feel they have a safe space to never feel judged.
In her free time you will find Rachel fostering dogs, hiking, or going on weekend getaways with her german shepherd and her significant other.
Rachel has special certification in Prepare and Enrich Premarital Therapy. This is for couples who are newly dating, engaged, or married. It can assist couples looking to build a strong foundation for their relationship, explore strength and growth areas, and gain tools to help work through common challenges. This therapy can also be used for couples to gain skills to be successful and long lasting in the future of their relationship, get to know one another on a deeper level, and to gain skills to strengthen their current relationship. The premarital therapy package can be bought for couples as an engagement gift, or a newlywed gift as well!

The premarital package is $985 total. It includes:

This therapy can also help couples as they transition into dating life, engaged life, or newlywed & married life. In these sessions, some common premarital topics you can expect to address are, financials, communication, conflict resolution, sex and affection, family dynamics, along with other topics. Rachel is level 2 certified in Gottman Couples Therapy, which is a research based approach to couples therapy, known for its effectiveness in repairing relationships. Rachel is passionate about helping couples rebuild their relationship. Whether you are unsure the relationship can last longer, need help navigating the challenges and stress that has built up, have the same argument over and over, or feel an emotional disconnect between one another, couples therapy can help. When the relationship is under stress, it can make day to day tasks feel more stressful and can negatively affect other areas in life. She also utilizes methods from Emotion Focused Therapy, another evidence based approach showing effective results in repairing and rebuilding relationships. One of Rachel’s passions is helping couples deepen their connection, while repairing their ‘friendship’ in the relationship.
Gender Affirming Therapy
Rachel is passionate about gender affirming therapy and supporting individuals of all ages going through a gender transition. A family member near and dear to Rachel has been through a transition, so she has had personal, first hand experience supporting someone through their transition process. Rachel wants to be able to help others or their family members navigate the challenges that can come up, and support them through it. The challenges that come up during the process are important to address and it is her goal to give her clients the best support and experience possible.

Rachel accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna insurance, or cash pay.
Rachel’s fees without insurance are $100 per 50 minute session. Rachel also offers the pre-marital therapy package for $985.
