Carlee has a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from New Mexico State University and is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. She works with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. She specializes in working with individuals and couples dealing with substance abuse, addiction, and trauma.
My focus for our therapy sessions is to help you identify your strengths and to build greater resilience to improve your overall quality of life. I believe healing occurs on multiple levels, including physical, emotional, and spiritual. I incorporate all three perspectives as we work together on engaging your thoughts, emotions, and body during the therapeutic process. We will work collaboratively towards achieving mutually agreed-upon goals and equip you with the skills you need to maintain your progress after therapy.
Finding yourself pursuing therapy is a brave thing to do! It shows strength and a desire for growth. I believe that therapy can be beneficial to all, because of the ways it helps us understand ourselves better and have greater control over our lives. My approach to therapy focuses on clients’ relationships, emotional expression, and self worth. I believe healing is connected to our ability to be our authentic selves in all areas of our lives, including being open and honest about our emotions in a safe way. It’s important to me to make clients feel heard, safe, and empowered in therapy.
Devon Johnson, LAC, is a therapist with experience working with individuals and couples. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Substance Abuse Counseling from Grand Canyon University and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northern Arizona University. He has received advanced training in Gottman Couples Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
