Couples Therapy
Healthy, loving relationships are key to our well-being. Yet interactions in our closest relationships can sometimes be frustrating and painful. Kristin works with individuals and couples to gain insight into patterns, clarify emotions, and explore new ways of relating. She values the uniqueness each partner brings and works to strengthen communication and deepen connection by drawing on principles from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method. Kristin also works with individuals striving to parent effectively, support a loved one with mental health challenges or manage complex family dynamics such as estrangement.
Individual Therapy
Kristin provides a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to explore self-esteem, identity, faith, grief and personal growth. She also works with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, perfectionism, body image concerns or who are in recovery from an eating disorder. Her approach is body-positive and trauma-informed. She meets clients where they are and works with them to move towards their personal goals, while becoming more grounded, empowered and confident.
Working with Children and Teens
Kristin enjoys working with children ages 6–12 as they build confidence, learn healthy coping skills and strengthen family relationships. She also supports adolescents (12–18) with self-esteem, stress, peer relationships and family communication, as well as guidance in academic and career exploration. She creates a safe and encouraging space where young people can develop resilience and make confident decisions about their future.
Working with Older Adults
Kristin also works with older adults navigating the transitions of later life, including retirement, family changes, grief and loss. She emphasizes resilience, meaning-making and the healing potential of relationships to support clients in finding renewed purpose and connection.
