Emily Bradley

I am a dedicated and compassionate therapist with an enthusiasm for helping individuals, couples, and families improve their emotional well-being and relationships. With specialized training in family systems therapy, I am committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for my clients to explore their concerns and work towards positive change.

Individuals

I tailor my therapeutic interventions to each individual’s unique needs, drawing from various therapeutic modalities, with a focus on systemic change.  My goal is to create a nurturing and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, leading to greater self-awareness and positive change.

Couples

I specialize in working with couples in marital distress and who want to improve their emotional connection.  I create a safe space to help couples improve communication, repair past hurts and betrayals, resolve conflict, and foster intimacy and trust to create a healthier and more fulfilling partnership.

I draw on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) in my work with couples and individuals.  EFT is a highly effective and evidence-based approach to couples therapy that focuses on understanding and processing emotional experiences within relationships. Developed by Dr. Sue Johnson, EFT recognizes that emotions play a central role in shaping our connections with others and in our personal well-being. The core principle of EFT is to help individuals and couples identify underlying emotions and relationship needs, and to restructure their emotional interactions in order to promote healing and build more a more secure connection. Through the power of emotional support and caring, EFT empowers clients to enhance their communication, foster a deeper understanding of one another, and develop more satisfying and meaningful relationships.

Adolescents

I specialize in helping adolescents navigate anxiety and depression as they transition from childhood to adulthood. Adolescents need a safe place where they can come and discuss their thoughts and challenges, explore their identity, family dynamics, peer relationships, and cope with academic pressure. The therapeutic process will support personal growth, emotional well-being, and develop health coping skills as they transition through life stages.

Education

I am a supervised clinician finishing my Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University.

In my spare time I enjoy traveling, the beach and spending quality time with my family and friends.
