Devon Johnson

Background and Training

Devon Johnson, LAC, is a therapist with experience working with individuals and couples. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Substance Abuse Counseling from Grand Canyon University and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northern Arizona University. He has received advanced training in Gottman Couples Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Working with Families

Devon is passionate about helping families learn to improve communication and increase family bonding. Families can be the greatest source of joy in our lives, but they can also be one of the greatest sources of pain. Devon has developed skills to help families learn to heal. He assists families to navigate through their difficulties and into greater connection. His intensive couples’ training and professional work with couples enables him to guide couples to recall and validate their initial attractions and move to new levels of bonding and maturation of a healthy and valued coupleship.

Working with Adults and Adolescents

Devon works with adults and adolescents to address a variety of life challenges. Bringing his unique skills in mindfulness techniques and EMDR, he is able to assist those he works with to understand more fully the challenges they go through and create transformation into healthier, more resilient lives.

Service Rates and Scheduling

Devon accepts BCBS and Aetna insurance.  For clients without insurance his fee is $110 for a 50 minute session.
