Therapy With an Individual
In individual counseling, Carlee focuses on your unique needs. Carlee uses a variety of techniques, specific to you, not only as an individual, but as a part of the larger system you associate with.
Carlee’s goal is to provide a safe and understanding environment that allows you to explore areas of your life, past and present, that may be contributing to how you are feeling now.
Therapy With Couples and Families
Carlee believes that relationships begin to face challenges when we shift from being together with intention to being complacent with each other. In couples therapy, Carlee will help you restore the foundation of your relationship by identifying your wants and needs with your partner and creating a purposeful way to reconnect. Carlee utilizes her training in the Gottman Method to support couples throughout the therapeutic process.
Carlee sees families being composed of several individuals who have come together as one unit. Often the difficulties we face in relationships come from barriers to understanding the other’s wants and needs. The foundation of any relationship is communication. In therapy, Carlee will help you as a family (or couple) increase effective communication and listening skills to better address the wants and needs within the relationship.
