Individual Counseling- Adults and Adolescents
I understand that beginning counseling can be daunting and I offer a safe, confidential, and comfortable environment where individuals can bring their whole selves without fear of judgment. I work with adults and adolescents on a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, identity and spirituality, and healing from trauma. I see each person’s unique strengths and values and collaborate with them to reach their goals. My approach is influenced by mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy, positive psychology, somatic psychology, and systems thinking.
Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling
Relationships can be the source of our greatest joy and also our deepest pain. I believe that our behavior in relationships is influenced by past experiences and that identifying the patterns that we engage in to protect ourselves can free us from the negative cycles they perpetuate. Healing these patterns and learning new ways to communicate and relate, particularly during conflict, is vital to restoring the peace and contentment that can come through healthy relationships with others.
